British Science Association Bristol and Bath- "Watching the Earth from Space" Wednesday 2 November

“Watching the Earth from Space; addressing Climate Change and Global Issues”, a talk by Prof Alan O’Neill, Director, National Centre for Earth Observation, University of Reading

Wednesday 2 November at 7.00pm, St Mary Redcliffe Church (close to Bristol Temple Meads Station) Entry £1.00 at door.  There is a public car park opposite on Redcliffe Way.

Data from Earth-orbiting satellites are revolutionizing our understanding of our home planet.  Alan O’Neill’s talk will give a number of examples of the scientific use of such data, including understanding the ozone hole, climate change and earthquakes.
